Bach Akademie Australia welcomes the internationally renowned American countertenor Reginald Mobley to Australia in this musical celebration of Easter. Reginald’s astonishingly beautiful voice will feature in Bach's heartbreaking cantata BWV 82 ‘Ich habe genug’ alongside Anna Starr on baroque oboe. Cantata BWV 42 follows with a message of hope and comfort for all. We then present one of Bach's best loved and most jubilant works, the Easter Oratorio. Its message of pure joy and celebration continues to uplift, inspire and comfort us all these many hundreds of years later.
